Performa Santé is a high-quality whey protein isolate is obtained from raw, unheated, unpasteurized milk; whey is the liquid left over from cheesemaking. Whey is therefore free of casein, a protein that causes allergies for many people, who can safely use whey.
Once the whey is obtained, over 99% of its lactose is removed, which allows lactose-intolerant individuals to use the product. The whey is ultrafiltrated and cold processed until it contains only the most highly assimilable proteins. The end product is a 100% natural, pale yellow powder containing all the essential amino acids.
